I ordered my 2.0 Tdi SE on the 12th February and I had a call from the garage yesterday that my car is now due for build week 17, with a delivery date of early May.

Now that was not long to wait was it?

Whats the betting that .....

No, lets not chance fate!

Phone call this afternoon, my car is now at stage 5 or whatever that means. The said they were fitting the doors, would have been nice to watch this on a web cam, but I suspect that this is too technical for Audi.

I should have my new motor for the beginning of May.

Note the word, should......

I need help and lots of it!

My car is now in the UK but the dealer knows not where (only for the time being I hope) and I passed a trailer full of A4's today on the M180 but not one of them was mine.

If anyone sees my car (it will be unregistered and will hopefully stand out) can they please help it out by directing it to Peter Guilder Audi in Sheffield.

Thanks for your help guys.

Yeeehaw! I've just had a call from Inchcape, the car is being delivered to my house on 27th May.

The only slight bummer is that I could have had it as early as the 22nd, but I am away on business then, and they don't deliver on weekends/bank holidays etc.

Can't wait now :p

Needs to be followed up with some pictures please!:p

I too now have my delivery date. Friday 23 May is when I pick up the new beast. Can't wait!!!

For those interested, the rear sensors were not factory fitted. These have apparently been "colour coded" and fitted at the dealership. We'll see.....

Lucky, lucky you. Mine is being held up by DVLA and the way they drag their heels in registering cars (I have my own plate) for reasons I fail to understand.

My old (current) car broke down this week (A6, 2 years old and only 65000 miles on the clock) I think the old girl is about ready for retirement.

Roll on next week :D

Congrats Richard

I will be interested to hear how you find the sports seats once you had your car for a couple of weeks. The demo I drove had them fitted and I have ordered them on my new Avant but with as it is not being built until week 26 I won't be seeing my car much before mid July.

Can you post some pictures of the inside as well as the outside when yours arrives ?

i test drove one with sports seats also. I hadnt seen the std seats, so didnt want to risk them being nasty, hence the reason why i went for the sports ones. Being a white car, i obviously went for the dark cloth. My current car (Volvo S40) has full leather, which i think i will miss:(

Will def take some pictures.

tempted to get cruise retro fitted
