turbo lag

is there anything i can do to solve my a4 2.5 v6 tdi's turbo lag :zx11: is remapping a good idea on a car thats done 140k miles
any help with this will be much appreciated

It should not have lag, have a fault code read done. The turbo on the 2.5 is prone to problems.

thanks for reply . will i need to go to audi specialist or will my local garage be able to do a fault code read . cheers gaz

Most garages can do a fault code read. Make sure you get either "P" or "VAG" codes and get a print out if possible. Have the codes erased (if any) and then drive the car again. Go back for another read (about a week later) and see what comes back.
