HI,

I am trying to source a diesel injector for a 2001-2002 (130) Tdi PD, according to my local dealer there are 3 types of injector for this one particular AWX engine, two of which retail at £380, and just out of shear luck the one I require appears to retail at £580 each, through Audi (for a Bosch part!!)

Can anyone please let me know if they can source a Bosch injector or even a secondhand/reconditioned injector.

Part no 038130073 BA

Is it worth having the old one reconditioned????

Kind Regards,
Damien

Go 2nd hand. New priced are a rip off. I sold a set of pd130 injectors on Ebay for just over £100, and that was for a complete set of 4....

Hi Folks

Totally new here, so I hope it is OK to raise this follow-on question.

On a US website http://www.kermatdi.com/servlet/-strse-VW-TDI-Nozzles-%2796-dsh-%2703/Categories I came across a large range of tuning injector nozzles from Fratelli Bosio in Italy (see here for their website http://www.bosio-estfb.it/English.htm )

These (probably the Sprint 520) seem like a possible "good idea" for my MkIV Golf 90BHP diesel (Engine Code AGR) (+ a remap later?) but I can't find any distributors in Europe, let alone the UK.

The US price for a set of 4 looks around $700 a set but no details of shipment outside the US.

Anyone have any or experience of these products or where I could obtain them more locally?

Thanks in advance for any help?

John

Major correction to the price, having checked with Charlie at Kermati!

It's $175 a set of 4 nozzles + seals. Postage to UK is $10, or $35 for USPS Global Express Mail. On top of that there will be some inport duty & VAT but the total price should be about £130.

Also, he reckons +10BHP, +20 ftlbs torque, and hopefully a little better fuel consumption wrt my 95000 mile set of injectors.

Sorry about the confusion!

John

Those Sprint520 are nozzles for the 90/110 engine I believe. The PD130 injectors are a different kettle of fish.

Hi there,

i have a problem with my A4 and i was wondering why you need a new fuel/injector pump?

What mine does sometimes is crank over and take about 2-3 seconds to fire up, and then sometimes it will just fire straight up no problem. It smokes a bit, did you do that?
