Hi All.
Took my Passat down to VW garage yesterday to have a power steering pump fitted (old one had a minor leak). Picked up the car today and when I got home and pulled up on the drive I noticed a faint knocking noise. Got out of the car and it sounds like somebody running a keyfob down a garden fence!! Its vaguely connected to engine revs, but if I turn the steering wheel it get much louder.
I guess the new PAS pump they fitted is buggered / faulty from new :zx11:
