I've noticed that when checking my car's oil level (when cold) the level looks to be about 1 cm above the max level. If i then go for a run, stop the car wait 5 mins and dip the oil again the level is spot on the max ? Any ideas...
I've also noticed what seems to be oil that has leaked from around the top inter-cooler seal and a strange characteristic is that when you rev the car
it seems to draw air in ??. I've booked the car into my local seat dealer who will change the seals next Thursday, what i'd like to know however is whether the oil level issue has any relation to the leaking intercooler. Anyone got an idea..:confused:
Oh and Crasher (if you see this) I did'nt change my temp sensor as on careful inspection of my rad it looks Action Man has attacked it with a BB Mini-gun. All the filaments look like they've taken a battering which i suspect is slowing down the circulation of coolant, not sure how plausable this is however saved my self £75 till i know the definite cause..
