Hi,
Having no luck finding an easy fix for my 5th gear not working and not knowing when the timing belt was done and with the engine having already done 145000 miles. It's still quite good on power but i'm starting to think about replacing the whole engine and gearbox with a newer one. So, what diesel engines will fit in my 1999 TDI, the engine code is AHF if that helps. If it's too dear i'll just have to get the bits done one at a time. If it is too dear, what 5 speed gear boxes will fit an AHF engine?
