just got vagcom - few questions if you please

just got vagcom 409.1 for my 1998 A6. been playing with it and got rid of some faults plus that damn air bag light - finally!. Want to recode my original keys cos there both out of sync, is it possible with vagcom, do i have to upgrade?
can i clear the service reminder that keeps flashing at me when i start the engine?
