Hi,
I wonder if anyone has experienced a problems I have had with my 1992 Golf Mk3 1.4CL. The problem manifests itself with the engine cuting in and out making driving virtually impossible. When I have pulled over, the car idles very roughly. I have managed toget it to go by keeping my foot to the floor at all times, however I've only been able to achieve 70mph, which can be maintained on a motorway but trying this technique in urban areas is nerve wracking in the extreme. It started as an intemittent problem ( I've travelled 300+ miles between it happening) and so far the garage has changed the following : Trottle body, Ignition module, fuel pump and fuel punp relay. It was noted that squeezing the fuel returm line from the injector caused the problem to disappear, however when the fuel pump relay was changed the defect returned almost straight away, indicating it was a relay mount- has anyone ever experienceda problem like this-please help:1zhelp:
