I have just fitted a new tow bar to my 1999 A3 Tsport and now have to do the wiring.
I am happy to splice into the taillight wires but when I fitted one to a Saab a few years ago it had a tow bar socket that I picked all the wires up from.
Does anyone know if the A3 has a tow bar socket as standard and if so where it is?
I cannot see one on the wiring diagram in the Haynes manual.
I need to know before next Tuesday as I am towing my motorbike trailer next to Donnington Park for the first Trackday of the year. (I hope the weather improves!)
