installation of mmi sat nav a6

hi there new to the forum and just picked up my a6 s line today new shape 2005 and its great but i would like to get the sat nav installed any type it has the button it has the colour screen. but nothing else. can any one help please even if its alink to previous post. thanks i advance . brian

Yes you can retrofit sat nav to mmi high and it takes about 2 hours.Audi parts supply the kit with the instructions,you will require vag com 704 to code gateway and encode the sat nav or fit it and ask the dealer to set it up also depending on your sw version of the mmi 2020 and above you should get tmc function also.http://www.kufatec.de/shop/product_info.php/info/p251_Audi-CD-Navigation-for-MMI-Basic-Plus-A6-4F.htmlVag com code 19(gateway) select nav click to codeinto gateway for installation.Then out of 19 and select 37 nav and select adaption channel 01 and enter the tyre diameter ie 206/60r16 =1 990mm then select channel 2 and enter the pulse value of 96 and save.Clear all fault memory and turn ignition off/on and away you go
