:1zhelp: I've got an Volkswagen Passat 2003, and wanted to service it at VW

I wanted to know the difference in the 70,000 mile service and the 100,00 mile service, how much they cost and what they both include.

Thanks

Don't know about cost but if you check your service book, the info you are looking for might be in there re: the 70k and the 100k service.

You bought a 2003 Passat without service history????????
Something fishy there?

It should be done by a VW or Approved VW garage.
Dealer service history is important to retain the value of the car. If you don't have the dealer history, your car will suffer higher depreciation costs when the time comes to move on to your next car and you want to sell the Passat.
Its your car, if you don't want to pay VW prices you could try and find a VW approved service centre or take it to your local garage.
I've also found out that although VW suggest that the timing belt is changed at 120k miles, you would probably be better off getting it done at around 80k, they have been known to break between 70k & 80k.
