Mk 4 Golf GTi Front Driver Door Misaligned

Noticed recently that the front door of my Mk4 Golf 3 Door Gti has become misaligned ( I think wind may have caught door at one point) and when closing the door the rubber seal on the bottom of door has gradually rubbed away the paintwork and also the top of door catches on framework and is continually rubbing away the paintwork. Is there an easy fix to this OR would it be advisable to take vehicle to a local dealer for advice.

This is a common problem with the three door cars due to the weight of the doors. The door could be re-alligned by VW or why not take it to a local bodyshop. They could probably advise you..
