Hi,
Wondered if anyone might be able to help me with this, I bought my Bora TDI back in May of this year as a ex-lease car, cant fault the car, and its been well looked after. The only problem being that when sold the car I only received one key. I've been quoted £230+VAT by my local VW dealer for the key which i think is a little over prices. I've seen the blank keys on ebay, but wondered if anyone was aware of any of the hight street key cutters that may be able to copy the key for me, and has anyone had any experience of having a VW key fob reprogrammed at a dealer.
Thanks

I got a key off ebay and a blank aslo cut from a puture of the existing key. you can match the remote to your car manually, but you'll need immobiliser SKC code to match the key to start the car.

£230+vat is way high, I was quoted £160 for an Audi key at the dealers.
