The power steering pump on my Polo (03) is not working since the airbags went off after a frontal crash. The power steering light on the dash remains on. Can anybody help ?

The pump is behind the front bumper below the left headlight, it probably took a hit.

What is it? If it is a 9N Polo, check the strip fuse on top of the battery. It is no good just visually checking it; you will have to unbolt it.
