Electrics fault

i have an 2004 A8 4.2 Quattro and am having problems with the lights. At night when the normal beam is on and I close the drivers window all the lights flash off then on again, there is no loss of power however is obviously very dangerous. Does anyone have any idea what could be causing this fault...I should say that it happens approx 9 out of 10 times. Kind regards

A very complex electrical system. The suspect is the on board power supply unit so a fault code read would be the best starting point.

HI - iI have a similar problem at the moment, (see my post from last week- i sorry have not figured out how to insert a link yet:Blush2:) - I am seeing the dash go blank and lights flash etc...

I will update as soon as i get to the bottom of it which may help you with your issue.
