hi i have a 2.0tdi when warm misfires on idle when its cold its perfect.had it on vag com comes up no faults!!!can any one tell me wot blocks to look in to check the injectors?and has any one changed injectors on one ?

Not changed any yet and at £462 each even exchange I hope I don’t have to do too many. In Measuring Blocks 08 about display group 13 (I can’t remember exactly) there is a display for injector integrity and another that shows +/- correction on each injector. I would be tempted to change the head harness first.

yes again i got car with 11,097 miles on i did about 400 miles and new head gasget went then got car back for a week and they said (audi) bottern end had gone cracked ????? i say head gasket went but they cocket it up but i have no evidence so well got it back and had no trouble since i have done about 30.000 since and everthink ok i love the car thats why i dont won to get shut but with this misfire well its like a misfire but i dont know i dont want to go to ******** cos they just have my past down

The problem isn’t with the head gasket or the block, it is with the head.

http://www.vwaudiforum.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=32887 refering to the cylinder head issues.Crasher is correct the cylinder head gasket failure are rare if at all.
