Sunroof opens on its own

I have a 1994 Audi 100s with 160k miles. Great car but recently the sunroof has been opening on its own. After stopping and turning off the car, we come back out later and it is open. Anybody have any idea why?

possibly sunroof drain channels blocked up leading to water gathering up in the over head panel remove and dry relay out

Could be the sun roof switch. My 99 A4 has an iffy switch, its like the contacts are worn or damaged, you have to tap and move is slightly back and fwd to get it to do the correct function. A previous owner was a gorilla ;-). Is your switch clicking positivily into position is it a bit jumpy?

If you always return the sunroof to it's full closed position, the problem might go away. I had similiar case.
