I want to start by saying a big hello to all. I am new to forums so please bear with me if i mess up along the way:Blush2:.
:1zhelp:I have recently purchased an A8 3.0 TDI (2004) and the other day while driving along the radio/cd cut out for a few seconds and the DIS screen on the dash went blank before resetting itself. At 1st i thought it might be my imagination but then it happened again and this time it was all of the above + flickering headlights before the offside headlight bulb blew out.
So I put this down to a faulty headlight bulb but before i got home the flicker dash and stereo cut happened again:confused:
This morning I have replace the headlight and am thinking about disconnecting the battery to see if this might help. I have also checked under the bonnet for loose earthing and the only earth points where next to the battery in the boot which are all fine.
Has anyone got any ideas as to the cause, and or solution. Your help is very much appreciated.
