I have a 1998 Sharan VR6 Synchro with what I think is a faulty autobox. It changes up from 1st to 2nd OK, but it clunks into 3rd and makes some strange noises! When in 4th, she drives fine all day on motorway, but when you slow down it has problem dropping down to 3rd.
Question is, Im trying to source a second hand box, but I dont know if it is specific to this model. Does anyone know if a gearbox from a 2 wheel drive model will fit? Or can anyone help with a fix for existing box? :1zhelp:
