Have I Got Heater Gremlins??

Hi,i Dont Know If Got Gremlins In My Heater System Or If Im Thick!
When My Heater System Is In Manual Mode The Heater Speed Slowly Jumps Up To Max But Not All The Time,i Normally Have The Temperature Set At 24c Is It Trying To Reach This Temp Or Do I Have A Problem ?

I have the same problem, i thourght it was just me!
im glad im not going mad.

Please let me know if you find out why it does this.

it must be probably one of the most annoying faults.

If the aircon climate control is in manual, the speed of the fan will not auto adjust it should stay where you put it. In auto mode, the speed of the fan will start slow (on a cold day) as not to blast you with cold air, and slowly increase as the engine temp increases until the cabin is at the pre set temperature. Is your car running at 90degrees when fully warmed up? if not suspect thermostat or temp sensor. The climate control will not work properly if the coolant is not at the correct temperature i.e 90 degrees when engine hot.

my car gets up to 90 degrees. the fan power just seems to creep up when all the settings are on manual. when it is switched to auto it seems to be ok.
i sort of suspect a shorted wire somewhere or a faulty dash unit.
