Hi, I'm joining the A4 club a week on saturday with a nicely spec'd 05 plate Avant S Line TFSI.
Having owned a MkII octavia VRS TFSI before (same engine and gearbox) the Avant felt a little slow. I'm fairly sure this is the impact of the significantly better soundproofing in the Audi making it not 'seem' as fast. Anyway, I just wondered if anyone has had their TFSI avant remapped and if the transforms the car ?
The remapped octavias were a big improvement on standard and standard was pretty nippy. I recorded an easy 14 sec quarter at santa pod in a completley standard Octy. As the A4 avant is only 15kg heavier than an octavia saloon it should be virtually the same on the road I'd have thought - but as I said earlier didin't feel quite as quick ?
Any thoughts ?
