Hi everyone,
I am the owner of a 1985 VW Transporter Campervan (Leisuredrive) and am forever having problems with the damn thing. Are there any other Transporter Campervan owners out there?
I have had problems with the dash lights (specially the speedo so I can't see how fast I'm going at night, grr), the battery, the alternator cable, you name it, anything electrical, it goes wrong.
Upon taking the van to a local garage I was told the "kv" something or another is too low and needs adjusting. What is this?!!!! And is there any recommended diagnostic procedure for electrical problems? I'm in Aberdeenshire, out in the sticks....any comments would be welcomed!
