Got my A4 B8 2.0Tdi SE

Just received my 2008 model 2.0TDi SE, with B&O sound systems.

Absolutely amazing car, much better than B7 (which was a great car anyway).

In Meteor Grey, with addn cruise control, interior light pack.

More rear leg room, larger boot.

The car looks great on the road, had lots of people staring, not sure what Audi it is, I have not seen another one yet on the road, (stay in Central Scotland).

Anyone got any questiosn, just ask..

Hey Scott,

How long was your wait between build date and delivery? My build date is this week but no idea when I'll actually see the car.
Out of interest, when did you order?

Congrats on the new car, I managed to get an hour in a demo one over the weekend was was very impressed. I'm getting bored with waiting now.....

Ordered Mid- November. Build was week begining 4th Feb, arrived at dealers for 1st March delivery....

Gutted, my order was supposedly placed at the end of October, but I appear to be a month behind. I reckon the contract company messed up somewhere....

Oh well, looks like I've got another 4 weeks of waiting.

I ordered mine on the same day as a colleague and we have been given delivery dates 4 weeks apart. No-one could give us a valid reason.:o

What is the 2 litre diesel like now with common rail, as opposed to the old 2.0 TDI which I have in my B7 ? Is it less rough ?

What's the factory sound system like? My orders *still* not placed, and I'm curious to see whether it's actually worth upgrading.

new diesel is very quiet....hardly know it is running. In fact I have stalled it a few times and did not know, as it is so quiet.

re sound system, I have the B&O upgrade, it is superb.....hifi on wheels...

Great news about your A4 and you are right, there are very few of them around infact I have only seen 2 on the road since launch.

Did you go for any of the new features like lane assist and have you got the Xeonon headlights that Audi will not let me have?

Options i got were:
