Found these on ebay, seller has told me they're ET35 but not sure if they'll fit my 99 B5 avant?

can anybody help please?

i think they will. wheels deffo . tyres might need to be changed a size but a small spacer could fix it instead

thanks for that, yes it's as i suspected, i think i'll need a spacer.
it looks like you're right about the tyre size, i've only got bog standard 15" alloys on my a4 at presesnt and the guy selling the wheels has given me the tyre sizes and using the calculator on one of the other posts, it says i'll be reading 10% too slow on my speedo

has anybody else taken that risk on here? my thoughts would be, there's no way of knowing if the tyres on my car at present are actually the correct size to start with so i may be comparing based on the wrong information...

thnx mr j, the size you say you ran at 17" is what the calculator says i should be running but the ones that are in the link above appear to have the wrong sizes on them (245, 55, 17) so i'm gonna give them a miss and buy direct from a shop:Blush2:

My a4 has these wheels fitted (from new) but they should run on 235/45 x17 tyres

a bit of advice from me mate, if you are going to buy new, buy genuine or oe spec wheels. cheep rep wheels are not the same as genuine. the quality is mostly v poor, weak porous castings etc and just not the ethic that these wheels need to last maybee 10-20 years. i used to be involved in a tuning garage and we had a dyno. i saw so many buckled , egg shaped wheels spinning at 100mph and 99% were cheep ones. i very rarely saw genuine wheels with the same issues. i would buy second hand genuine over cheep replica wheels. companies like speedline , azev , abt, ronal no problem. you get what you pay for.. my two pennies mate.....
hope you get what you want.....good luck!
