Hey,
has anybody ever replaced front and rear pads on a 2000 s8, i also need to replace the rear discs- due to the brakes being 4 pot brembos will this cause any issues that would normally not be a problem when replacing normal brakes?? All tips/ precise work steps would be great!!!

paulstu007,
replacing the brake pads on a brembo equiped S8 is very easy. :D
Once the road wheel is off, you remove the tappered pins and spring pad, ease the pads apart using a suitable tool until the pistons are fully seated (keep an eye on the fluid level in your res). undo the wear sensor and remove the pads. Refit is the reverse.
Rear brakes are as easy but you will need a wind back tool.
Alot of info is available on http://audipages.com

Best of luck. Brake bits are cheap from brakeparts direct and are genuine Brembo
