but when he was up north someone put a nice hole :mad: in one of the rear lights

apart from the dealer where can he got one from
is there any audi breakers

What area are you in?

Apart from dealers, you could try Euro Car Parts, German and Swedish for new items, or ther used to be a VAG breakers in Coventry called Sanburn, they used to be very good, not sure if they are still around, check out some VAG magazines, they used to advetise a lot,
