Speaker upgrade

I am going to upgrade my speakers on my 2004 a4 1.8 t

How di i get access to the 4 door speakers/tweeters is it neccessary to remove the whole interior panel ??

you do have to remove the whole door panel.If your going to upgrade the speakers i would also upgrade the amp in the boot as its a wimp.

thanks for the reply James.....what does the amp power, is it the rear door speakers and the sub? i believe the front doors are powered from the head unit.

Where is the amp and how do i access it???

And please tell me thr type of wheels on the car in your avatar...is it yours ??? its beutifull

Your right the amp powers the rear door speakers and the sub.It is behind the panel in the boot on the drivers side.I put a sony one in there to power the rears and a rockford fosgate to power a 12" sub in the boot,sounds very nice now.The car in my sig is mine,the wheels are carlsson replicas 19/8.5" with 235/35/19 tyres.Here's a better picture.......

Stunning car James....Ill prob replace the amp as well, do u have a link/web addy for those wheels, and how do you feel the ride is w the 19inch rims, is it bumpy, I was gonna order a set of 18 RS4's but now you have me thinking...lol

I had 18's on it before these and didn't notice any difference at all.It is quite a bit firmer than standard as ive got a koni ssk kit on it.The wheels are available on ebay.
