Interior door panel

I have a 1997 A4 Tdi. I can't remove the interior door panel (the door mirror switch is playing up...) I've removed the 3 screws, but can't get the thing off, any suggestions?

Have you removed the armrest? Under it there should be a plastic(?) cover behind which may be a couple of screws. These have to be removed before trim can be removed.
If you PM me your chassis number or your engine and gearbox code I may be able to help further. Engine cc??
