The central locking on my A2 appears to be locking and unlocking while I'm driving along without the fob being pressed, although the hazard lights don't light up on the dash or flash outside the car as they would when the fob has been intentionally pressed.

At first I thought the fob might be faulty and sending signals to the
central locking but on swapping fobs and batteries the same happens.

It doesn't seem to happen when the engine is off and the car locked but on getting out of the car, the front door windows sometimes wind down as they would if you pressed the right combination of buttons on the fob

Is this likely to be a problem with the central locking or do I have 2 faults fobs ?

The best thing to do is have the vehicle fault read with VAGCOM.
There may be a simple solution to it. It may be a faulty convenience ECU. They are quite common on A2's.
Where are you based? get the car to a good independant Audi specialist.
