Ipod XCarlink and gamma radio..Please help a newb!!

Hey guys,

I'm a newbie, and attached here's a pic of my beautiful new girl!!

Last night i tried fitting my xcarlink for my ipod but cannot get it to recognise my ipod is there. I think i may have pinpointed the problem though, my gamma cd player is not a cd changer, and that is the message i am getting on my radio..

Does anybody have any experience with this, and have any solutions?!!

Maybe you can only use this if you have cd changer?

Any other solutions how i can use my ipod with my gamm, i dont want to replace it with a aftermarket one (it would have to charge the ipod battery at the same time as this is knackered, it only works o charge!!

Mate cant help with your question but I am interested in getting one of these for my mk4, how did you fit it and where did you put the main box? In the glove or did you just trail the usb lead into the glove.
