1999 Plastic screen is always misting up

Hi

My 1999 Cabriolet always has a misty rear plastic screen (to be expected in this weather) but I realised that the air which blows onto the screen, blows cold. Consequently I have to drive atleast 10 - 15 miles before it starts to begin to clear.

1) Is this right, i.e. that the rear blower is merely a blower (not a heated blower) ?
2) Is it worth purchasing a small blower/heater which runs off the cigarette lighter socker for fitting to the rear of the car ?

Hi, yes your rear screen is just a blower not a heater, you may find that the reason its steaming up all the time is that you have a leak coming into your car making your interior damp check your carpets to see if they are damp.
