Well after many years of Audi/VW ownership mainly ur quattros just got another for the fleet o cars...trusty audi 80 tdi estate daily hack.. lotus elise summer hack lotus elan 1969 classic show hack...my first rebuld 1973 triumph spitfire never goes out shame... n my latest whitch leads me here 2000 x reg Audi A6 V6 tdi with a few small probs...mainly the reason i got it cheap.. the story so far...belonged to my neighbour who put it in for cam belt change at my local garage...they messed it up n 200miles later the belt fell off big bang i bought it cheap (i thought)they came good n sorted my neighbour out with another car so i bought his 24 broken rocker arms 12 bent valves and a helicoil repair later all new bolts gaskets pumps pulleys etc....starts fine sounds good untill u leave it over nite then the rocker arms fall off ....when started does anay one have a clue? i think i should have replaced the hydralic lifters as well i think they may be at fault...or am i doing summat wrong?
