Does anybody know the average fuel consumption for a Skoda Octavia TDI 90 Diesel auto please?

The manual will do 50-65, depending if running round town or a long run at modest speeds. Even at motorway speeds over 55 is routine.

The auto I am told can be up to 10mpg less. Let us know.

I can only manage 31 MPG around town, maybe because the engine's tired (180'000 plus on the clock). I've leased this car while having a new cylinder head etc to my vw passat. Thanks for the reply
