Performance Problem

Hi,

I have a 2000 (W) GT TDI 130,
Just wandered if anyone can help with a problem i have
At low speed the car seems to run fine but when i'm on the motorway speeds of 70mph + the car seems to develop what i can only describe as a misfire or posibly fuel starvation, i tried some injector cleaner but this hasn't seemed to work. Has anyone any sugestions

Cold be a MAF related problem.
Try disconnecting the MAF and taking it for a run, see if it improves. If yes, replace your MAF.

Hi thanks for quick reply,

The MAF

Just checking i'm on the right part, is this fastened to the airbox with the multiplug connection??

If this is the case it has made no difference.

also forgot to mention the car has been chipped about 18month ago could it be this going faulty

You need to get a fault code read done; you may have an injector harness problem. That doesn’t sound like a MAF problem to me.
