Help can't find the right place for this so here goes.
I have a friend at work who's VR6 isn't running right so could do with a shot of VAG-COM to identify the problem.
I have an OBD scanner but still getting problems can anyone help

is the car missfireing under load or just running bad all the time?

We have put new Plug leads and MAF on the car which has made the power smoother but it is decidedly slower than my VR6. I know there is some variation between cars but my current VR6 is slower than my first and his is significantly slower. I'm getting a Lambda sensor fault I think but could do with access to something better than a scanner as even with the new MAF my scanner still shows no signal from it
