I need help with my car, the car rev's ok but when you try to pull away it has total loss of power like petrol starvation, i have unplugged mass air flow sensor and the problem goes away, fitted new mass air flow sensor and the problem is back again!!!

Can anyone help

You have an air leak somewhere, likely the stock DV or anything allowing air between the maf and intake.

Once you find the leak it will 100% fix your problem.

If you have vag-com you can run some logs to help you locate the issue.

what year or engine code? my agu 98 kept poping the top intercooler hose of, on an agu the maf is also the pressure sensor so i'm lead to belive so that would point to air leak.
