Heater Issues!

Hey guys, im new to the site, but is stuck on heater issues im having!

Right, i own a 2001 Passat and the heater comes on, but at a very low temp.

its enough to de-mist the windscreen but not able to keep warm...

So far we've changed the water pump, checked the 2 pipes that come to and from the heater matrix, and also drained the water and topped it up again..

The engine temp is fine, and stays at a constant temperature. so we've ruled out the thermostat.

Has anyone ever had a similar problem, or do you guys have any suggestions??

Hi mate I'm having same issues with my 90 quattro.

Hey mate, another thing im tryin is rad flush!

Jus put it in today so we'll see what happens when i drain it on the weekend!

If this fails its a possible dash-out job to check the heater matrix itself :aargh4:!!!
