Mk 4 Anniversay - production number

Hello all,
im the proud owner of a mk4 golf anniversary :approve: and was wondering if anyone knows how to find out the production number.
There should be a little badge stuck on the fusebox cover stating what number the car is but mine is missing:(. Ive been to the local vw ******** and asked but all i got was a blank look and told to contact vw :confused:
any help would be gratefuly appreciated
