Hi,
Can anyone help diagnose the problem with my 99 Golf MK4 1.8T (150Bhp).
It has no turbo kick, taking 8 seconds to accelarate from 8mph to just 52mph! - in second gear (at 6000rpm, MAF reading was 116g/s). Also, fuel consumption is now only around 20mpg!
My instinct is that it has something to do with the Lambda readings. The following are the lambda reading at idle;
group 006 = -7 and 18, group 008 = 5.5 and 2.3. When i throttle (accelerate in neutral) to 2500rpm quickly, the lambda readings change to;
group 006 = 5.5 and -0.8, group 008 = 1.6 and 2.3 (the 2.3 reading does not change at all!)
Can anyone explain why there are 4 lambda readings and what these reading should be if the car is functionally normally?
Thanks
