Hi,
I've just joined so please be gentle with me! ;) Earlier today I locked the car with the remote and went off shopping. I came back, tried to unlock with remote but nothing was happening, no sounds or signs of lights coming on.
I thought this was very odd. Battery in remote maybe? In the end I used the key to unlock and open. I've only had the 3 yr old A4 for 2 weeks!
It seems to be ok so far. i.e. i've locked and unlocked with remote since.
Maybe the door wasn't closed properly? I'm sure I locked it. Something on its way out?
Something else I noticed which may or may not be connected:
On the status display in the dashboard in front of the steering wheel, the service indicator is now indicating 00 miles. Before it was 100 miles. Is this normal? It reverts to 00 if less than 100 miles? Otherwise I've lost a digit somewhere!
