Hi, think I have a slight problem, took her out for a spin and found when accelerating hard'ish (as you must sometimes) the car seems to hesitate, like missing. It's not as smooth as my previous A3. Cars done 57k, cambelt as been done with fsh. Any idea's or quick fixes ie common problem that can be sorted without resorting to ********? Any help / opinions appreciated. cheers

Had exactly same problem a few weeks ago on Tdi 2.0, got new fuel filter fitted on Fri, sorted it out perfectly, good luck :D

My 2005 model has had full Audi service history, serviced 5 times since new by ******** as it was a company car, fuel filter had not been changed since new :zx11:

Try disconnecting the MAF, see if it runs without the hesitation.

All sorted now, garage replaced the MAF under warranty. Give her a quick blast to check all was well, fetched a smile to my face. Give it a few months and I'll be looking at chipping!!? Thanks for the feed back.

When I say chipping I mean getting it re-mapped. Looking through the forum and other sites, I'd be looking at getting just short of 200 BHP. I think my engine code is APU. It's always nice to have that little bit in reserve!!
