I have posted this before but have some new info and can anyone help?
For a long time my esp light comes on very intermittantly. The fault is 1435 G201 brake pressure intermittant. I have recently got a VAG COM and when reading the pressure live it is never stable and usually fluctuates around 4 bar with no pressure on the pedal. (when it fluctuates over 7 bar the fault code is induced). To me this is a very high figure so I have tried to re teach it. I enter the correct code (40168), it is accepted, I enter 066 and have the settings ready in green, but when I select on/off/next the boxes go brown and it tells me unavailable. Am I doing something wrong or is it because the pressure reading is in spec (under 7 bar) it will not let me calibrate?
Anyone got any ideas? I have fitted a couple of brake light switches and a pressure sensor recently.
