Hi,
Can anybody help?, I have a 2003 A4 Avant SE 3.0 Quattro with the following annoying faults: -
1, Front off side indicator stopped working & failure shown on driver display, bulb changed & old bulb tested, bulb found to be working, all contacts cleaned. (Now intermittent fault fixed with a gentle tap to the light assembly)
2, Dash temperaturegauge intermittent.
3, Air con. Temperature & fan speed has a mind of it’s own from time to time.

Any advice welcome.

Other than the above, a great car.

The dash temperature gauge fault is commonly cause by the temperature sender or a failure in the dash panel itself.

Mine is doing the same I going to replace the temperature sender first as it costs around £15. If its the dash it can cost around £400:aargh4:

The tempeture sender is a dual unit one half tells the ecu the engine temp and the other does the dash.

Yor intermitant indicator sound like a dodgy connector.

The aircon going crazy could be linked to the dash tempeture problem but thats a guess. change the temp sensor and see if it goes away!.
