Hi If you previously locked the car and then just opened the boot, so to close it again then the car will relock.

i think i found the answer i had a leaking back wiper and water drops down to the boot lock and wets the micro switch whats tell the central locking system that the boot is open i think this is what might have happened to mine it says u have to take the boot lock of and dry with a hairdryer or at the worst buy a new switch.

Consider this also: In the manual it says that if the doors are not touched/opened within 90 seconds of the locks been unlocked by the remote then they will re-lock. I've found that if I open the boot having unlocked via the remote when I shut the boot the alarm goes off. All normal VW Factory fitted alarms. It may be that it's working how it's designed.

Just to add, this is what mines does as well. Think that's the way it's supposed to work.
