Hi All. I have a Passat tdi 130 2002 With electical problem. Side lights work, main head lights don't, beam works on flash but not when you switch them on, hazzards work but not the indicators, heater works but the blowers don't any ideas? Thanks in advance Stephen

Have you checked the fuse box? Its on the side of the drivers side console (only visible when you open the door. It may be as simple as some blown fuses

Hi The faults you have, there are two possibilitys,they share two components which each can cause the problem (1) X-contact relief relay, control number (213) position 2 on the fuse carrier,(2) the electrical part on the ignition switch,To illiminate the one from the other,you need to bridge 2 wires behind the ignition switch.The yellow on black wire and any one of the red wires,if everything works, then it is a faulty ignition switch,

Thanks Kenny, This would also explain having to giggle the key occasionally to get it started. does this also mean I'll need a new Key?
