Hi guys,
I bought my missus a 1997 R reg Polo Classic 1.9 SDi last year. It cost me 750 and was intended as a runabout. She's always said it was slow, but I've recently driven it and it struggles to get to 70 and runs out of puff. I replaced the air filter and this has helped it rev a bit better but it's still a slug - anything else I can check or change easily that might perk it up - I've heard the fuel filter(s) can be a problem? :aargh4:
