golf mk4 cant start

i have just bought this car a week ago and it was running fine till yesterday when iwas replacing my side repeaters the fuse blew and i replaced the fuse.But when i wanted to start the car it did not! Dont know the problem checked all the fuses and they seem all ok. I dont know if somebody had this problem b4 so please help me b4 i go to the garage.
