New TDI e model - What;s it like?

As you can see from my forum name the missus wants an A3!

As a long-standing A4 Avant owner just wondered if anyone has any real-life experience of the new low-emissions 1.9Tdi A3 as it's very cheap on company car tax.

Wouldn't want to get one if it's underpowered though.

Anyone got any thoughts?

Put it this way, I'm really pleased with the power of my A6 1.9TDI which has 130bhp, so if you manage to get one of them then it should fly! In my experience Audis have always been faster than the equivalent Mercs, which are lumbered with so much TC it's unbelievable. Fart and the TC comes on, its stupid and really off-putting.
