:zx11: 6 weeks ago a tech replaced a seal in the differential and said there is rust inside of the transmission, although there was no discoloration of the transmission fluid. now I have been told the constant variable axle is protruding 2" out of the transmission on the driver's side causing a new leak. This is supposedly caused by rust in the transmission.
does this make sense? Could the axle slip 2" due to rust? This car has never been flooded and has no other rust on exposed areas. Any Ideas? :aargh4::1zhelp:
