i am in process of purchasing a 99 passat v6 4 moyion replacing my tdi and upon testing the warning indicators on the dash are on a yellow backgrond at the top,it needed washer water, beneath this the background is red and the trip computer fields mpg etc are very difficult to read, does any one know if this is usual , the car is a manual so no gear selector shown, but the red background would really annoy me if its ther permantly
